Modules for LTE Applications
These modules are primarily intended to provide Wi-Fi hotspot or connectivity functions when paired with LTE communication modules.
- W58 & W74:
- Specs: Both modules feature a compact size of 16.6x13mm. They support Wi-Fi standards IEEE 802.11 b/g/n (W58) and IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (W74). W58 is based on QCA-9377-3 with SIM7600X-H for Wi-Fi, while W74 is based on QCA6174A with SIM7612X for Wi-Fi.
- Competitive Applications: Suitable for size-critical and cost-sensitive devices such as Telematics, Industrial Handhelds, POS Terminals, and Smart Home Gateways.
- W59:
- Specs: Measuring 16x18.3mm, the key feature is its Auto Grade Wi-Fi capability, supporting IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac standards. It is based on QCA-6574A-3 with SIM7800 for Wi-Fi.
- Competitive Applications: Its major competitive edge lies in the auto-grade design, making it highly suitable for In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) systems and High-Quality Mobile Hotspots operating in harsh environments.
⚡ Modules for 5G Applications
These modules are designed to integrate with 5G communication modules, delivering higher-speed and higher-capacity Wi-Fi solutions.
- W80 & W82 (Mass Production):
- Specs: Both are 17x24mm modules supporting Wi-Fi 6 (IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax) and 2x2 MU-MIMO functionality. W80 is based on QCA-6391 with the SIM8200 series, and W82 is based on WCN6856 with the SIM8260 series.
- Competitive Applications: With Wi-Fi 6 and MU-MIMO support, they are ideal for High-Performance 5G Gateways/CPE and Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) devices, significantly boosting transmission efficiency in multi-user environments.
- W86 & W87 (In development):
- Specs: These modules feature larger footprints (W86: 26x21mm; W87: 32.5x29.5mm). Both are planned to support the latest Wi-Fi 7 standard and enhanced MU-MIMO capabilities (W86: 2x2 MU-MIMO; W87: 4x4 MU-MIMO). W86/W87 is based on WCN-7851/QFW71X4 with the SIM8270 series.
- Competitive Applications: As future-oriented products, they are designed to be competitive in applications demanding Extremely High-Bandwidth, Ultra-Low Latency, and Massive IoT Deployment, such as High-End Industrial Routers, AR/VR Streaming Devices, and Enterprise-Grade 5G Access Points.
